1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Deskcord ("Service"), provided by Maxime Bertonnier, a French micro-entreprise ("we," "us," "our," or "Company").

By accessing or using Deskcord, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use our Service.

2. What is Deskcord?

Deskcord is a customer support widget that integrates with Discord. It allows you to:

• Embed a widget on your website
• Accept customer support messages through the widget
• Handle support conversations in your Discord server
• Manage customer conversations in one place

We provide two subscription plans: Solo ($9.99/month) and Team ($49.99/month). New users get a 7-day free trial.

3. Your Account

To use Deskcord, you must have a Discord account and create a Deskcord account with your email address.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You agree to provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Deskcord

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Deskcord for:

• Any illegal activities or services
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Spamming or sending unsolicited messages
• Attempts to hack, probe, or compromise our systems
• Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity
• Violating anyone's intellectual property rights

5. Payment & Billing

Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a monthly basis.

• Billing occurs automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle
• All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
• You are responsible for any taxes owed on your purchase
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6. Service Availability

Deskcord is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we strive to keep our Service running smoothly, we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Interruptions may occur due to:

• Maintenance and updates
• Server issues or technical problems
• Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., Discord outages)

7. Intellectual Property

All content in Deskcord—including code, design, text, and graphics—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of Deskcord without permission. Customer support messages you send through Deskcord remain your property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Deskcord and its creators are not liable for:

• Loss of data or revenue
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Issues caused by third-party services (Discord, Stripe, etc.)
• Any damages arising from use of the Service

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 30 days.

9. Disclaimer

Deskcord is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or meet your specific needs. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Use Deskcord for illegal purposes
• Engage in abusive behavior
• Have multiple failed payment attempts

You can cancel your account anytime by navigating to your account settings or contacting us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email. Your continued use of Deskcord after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
